So, I'm in the first week of my self imposed unemployment!! I quit my job and decided to take the month of June off. The list of things to do are endless, and I could spend the entire month sewing garb and still not make it through the fabric stash!!
I uploaded some photos from my trip to London and Paris. I have about 750 to choose from! I will make more galleries of London and Paris but I had to start with Stonehenge and the
Travelling Wench Shirt. For those of you unfamiliar with the shirt deal, we (members of the IWG) decided to take a wenches guild logo when we travel and take photos of us with the logo. As you can see, the shirt had a great time in London because we spent more time there than in Paris. Go check out the photos and feel free to leave comments!!
I hope to create galleries for the Louvre, sites around London, churches/cathedrals, and Paris. It was a great trip and I had so much fun in London, I want to move there!!! I brought back official guide books from everything I saw plus I saved all my site seeing ticket stubs. I hope to create a scrapbook of the trip with things incorporated with the photos.
So, anyway, the Potomac Celtic Festival is about 10 days away; June 14th for anyone interested www.pcfest.org We hope to do well again this year so we can possibly expand to either a night fest or adding a second day. We have over 30 clans and societies and about 35 vendors (including several new ones) signed up for this year, and we are trying a new local beer distributor.
Well, time to go work on the "list of things to do" and start sorting out what to sew. I need to rethread my serger, it has been wonky lately and I can't do anything without it! Once you get used to having one, you can't live without it!
